How much talstar pro do I mix per gallon of water?
Answer: The Talstar P product label allows you to use 0.5 fl oz – 1 fl oz per gallon of water for indoor and outdoor spraying. We recommend using the 1 fl oz per gallon of water usage rate for the fastest knockdown and longest lasting residual.
What is the mix rate for talstar?
For 0.06% dilution, mix 1 fluid oz. Talstar Professional per gallon of water (1 fluid oz. = 2 tablespoons). Use the higher rate for heavy pest infestation, quicker knockdown or longer residual control.

Answer: Talstar can only be applied indoors to cracks and crevices. We recommend the Indoor flea kit.
Is Talstar P rain proof?
Answer: Talstar P can be applied to a damp or dry lawn. If rain is expected within 6 hours of application, we would recommend waiting until after the rain has stopped to apply. Talstar P is rainfast after about 6 hours.

It is a very safe product to use around children and pets and is widely used by professional companies every day in thousands of homes across the country. How long does it take talstar to work?
Answer: It all depends on the insect that is walking over the area treated with Talstar P, but most will die rather quickly, which means within 20 to 30 minutes to a few hours. Larger insects can take longer, such as roaches, scorpions, and spiders can take a day or two sometimes. Definitely not 7 to 10 days.
Which is better Bifen or Talstar?
Answer: Talstar P and Bifen IT are essentially the same product, they are just made by different manufacturers. Onslaught is micro-encapsulated and will last a little longer on outdoor surfaces which does give it a bit of advantage over Talstar P or Bifen IT.
What Bugs does talstar kill?
The Talstar P insecticide will be able to kill everything from mosquitoes, ants, termites, bedbugs and flies to even wasps, bees, spiders, centipedes, crickets and many other pests (full list of Talstar insecticide target pests here), providing that this insecticide can be even used by pest control professionals.
Is talstar an IGR?
Answer: Talstar P is an insecticide only, it is not an IGR nor does it contain an IGR. Talstar is not really a great choice for indoor flea control because it can not be broadcast sprayed over floors where the fleas tend to harbor.
How often should you spray talstar?
Talstar P must always be diluted with water and be applied with a hand pump sprayer or similar pressurized spray equipment. Talstar P should NOT be used as a broadcast spray indoors. Talstar P is a long lasting product and may only need to be applied once every few months for general pest control.
