Is Look keo good?
The Look Keo Classic 3s are good mid-level pedals that offer a decent base for power transfer, have an easy-to-use adjustable mechanism, and are well made and robust. I’ve used the Keo Classic 2 pedals for the past few years, and one of the first things you notice is the different shape, which has changed dramatically.
How long do Look Keo pedals last?
The cleats don’t last that long though. I have worn out a couple of pairs of Keo Blades, I usually get about 2 years out of a pair at about 16-18,000 km a year. For me they wear out at the clip in and clip out points, when the front and rear of the cleat clip in.
Are all Look Keo pedals compatible?
Yes, as long as the pedals are Look KEO compatible, they are appropriate for use with men’s and women’s shoes.

When did Look Keo come out?
1984
Overall, the Keo could be viewed as long overdue, given how little Look’s design has changed in its essentials since 1984. But Look has been reluctant to tamper with a successful design that created an industry standard – at least in the hole patterns now offered on almost all cycling shoes.
How do I loosen my Keo pedals?
There is an arrow on either side of the screw, one marked (+) and the other (-). Use a 3 mm Allen wrench-also a called a hex wrench-and turn the screw in the appropriate direction. Turning the screw toward the (+) sign will tighten the binding. Turning the screw toward the (-) sign will loosen it.
Are the KEO easy’s any good?
The keo easy’s are decent from the specs but newly released. I don’t know much about their durability. The classics are just that, classic. They have been a hit since they’ve been released, and from personal experience, they are smooth to click in and out of, the bearings are like butter for many many miles down the road, and they are durable.

What’s the difference between the Easys and the classics?
Retail difference is about $40, with the Easys cheaper. The Easys lack tension adjustment. I’d tell the LBS to either exchange the Easys for Classics or give you some store credit. As a side note, the Easys are 40 grams/pair lighter than the Classics.
