Why is Laguna Campground closed?
San Diego, CA. (January 10, 2020) – A temporary closure order has been implemented for the Mount Laguna campground beginning January 7 until March 31, 2020 as renovations and construction take place. Campground construction has an anticipated completion date in late 2020.
Can you camp anywhere in Mount Laguna?
You can camp for free anywhere PAST the “Leaving Laguna Mountain Recreation Area” sign (no camping allowed within it). There are various options, just look for cleared dirt areas. Hiking around our free camping spot, beautiful views everywhere.
