Can you use sealant in tubular tires?

Does stans sealant work in tubes?
Can I add sealant to my tubes or tubular tires? Yes, if the tube or tubular has a removable valve core. We recommend injecting 1-2 ounces (30-60ml) of sealant into tubes or tubular tires. Sealant will not damage tubular tires.

Are tubular Tyres more puncture resistant?
In terms of puncture resistance, tubular tyres also rank better than clincher tyres which are prone to pinch flats. However, one staple, nail, or piece of glass can be the end of your tubular tyre, whereas a punctured clincher can be reused with a new inner tube. A tubular tyre can also be ridden safely while flat.

Sealant dries out over time, which can leave latex gunk in the form of a film, chunks, or large dried sections that can cause your wheels to go out of balance. We’ve mentioned it before, but you need to take the time to remove and clean out your tires from time to time (plan on once per year as a reasonable minimum).
Can you put sealant in an inner tube?
Putting sealant in a tube adds to the weight of the tube, rather than replacing it as in tubeless. Likewise, with sealant in a tube, you have all the rolling resistance you already had with the tube, plus more energy cost to turn the wheel due to the sealant. (Bicycle Rolling Resistance tested this.)
